TUTORIAL - GALAXY PRINT SHOES
okay, I asked if you guys would like a tutorial on this and you guys said yes, so here it is!
I have to warn you, this is going to be more of a descriptive tutorial rather than picture by picture. My hands were COVERED in paint when I was doing this so I couldn’t stop to do as many play-by-play pics as I would have liked, however I’ll try to explain it as best I canWhat you’ll need:
paints (recommended colors Blue, White, Black, Purple, Pink, and Yellow. You can buy lighter or darker shades of each or just blend with white and black. Personally I like blending my own colors best!)
And old pair of black sneakers
a sponge
a fine tip paint brush
tape
a galaxy picture to go by (if needed)Process
The process is simple, its just very, very tedious. Be patient, Don’t get frustrated, and If you look at it thinking, gee this looks like shit KEEP going, because, for a while, It will look like shit hahaa.1. Remove laces from your shoes and tape the souls/white rubber around the bottom (unless you want to paint it, I think it looks better without)
2. (Optional) have your laptop open with galaxy pictures for inspiration. This helps when your dabbing colors and feeling like its just looking like color splotches and not a galaxy print.3. Have your paint colors ready Start with a dark blue color and a sponge and dab the color all over the shoe.
4. Take your sponge and dab some white in various areas. Blending is SO important. Apply thick color and blend it out in all directions.5. Add color, purples, pinks and yellow/oranges worked best for me. Basically what I did was cover the shoe in blue all over. I added more blue in some areas, and less in others so Automatically I had vibrant blues and darker blues. from there I added bursts of color. I basically dabbed a circle shape, and just faded the color out in all directions, Kind of like how you see a galaxy. Bright whites in the center, fading back out to black space. Like I said, theres no right or wrong way to do this, Just go with it and remember to BLEND.
6. The coloring takes a while, when you are finally satisfied, take a fine tip paint brush and dab white dots (stars) all over the shoes. Put the stars closer together in the brighter areas and space them out more in the darker areas. This makes it look less “practiced” I guess :) i also made a few random larger stars by making a cross shape. Super easy! :)
7. Once they’re dry, peel off the tape, relace your shoes and you’re done!
Hope this was helpful, its a LOT easier to do than explain. Just remember, you can’t go wrong with it. Look at pictures for inspiration, and PLEASE, don’t go out and buy new shoes for this. The shoes I used were already ruined from painting at work, and I saved them by painting over them. So use an old pair, and get a little more life out of them! :)

thighs are still stupid huge, but my stomach is looking a bit better. it’ll still be a while before i’m comfortable with it. i haven’t lost much weight, but i have been working with weights so i assume there’s SOME muscle gain. maybe not a ton but some ;)

That would explain the bloating and water weight. and why i was up 2lbs. I feel much better about that now. im so tired though. Valentine’s day has slightly got me down too.
i think i’m gonna go to the gym later tonight. then study for the rest of the night. having my period just honestly makes me not want to do annnything.

I didn’t weigh this morning, I accidentally had breakfast before I remembered to weigh, and I didn’t want to see a higher number and freak out, blah blah, SO, i’ll weigh tomorrow!
I finished my book! If you haven’t read the skinny bitch I highly recommend it! It’ll completely change how you think about food. It makes me want to be a vegetarian. Or at least swear off ALL fast foods and only get meat from organic grocery stores. Its really insane.
I also went to the grocery store, got some healthier cereal, greek yogurt, and organic skim milk, so baby steps! I also forgot to update, but I had a really good workout yesterday! I did cardio for about 1.5 hours and burned 1,000 calories :) felt great!

feeling good, I want to try to keep fasting, even if its only like twice a month, but if I could do it for several days, I really think that would be great. Its just such a good way to cleanse your system and get rid of all the gross stuff in your body. And once your a few days in it feels so good! I will probably eat regularly this week then try to fast again over the weekend.
